Products and their Environment:
Please be aware that because I use lots of metal in my work, like copper, brass and sterling silver, the piece that you buy will develop a patina over time so the colour will change. This is a natural process with the metals that I use. The pieces can be cleaned with Brasso or silver cleaner (depending on what it is) to bring it back to the original colour but the patina isn't a fault it is just what metal does! I finish all of the products I sell with a protective coating before sending them which protects them from finger prints and moisture but doesn't last forever so things that are handled a lot like keyrings or worn a lot like jewellery will start to develop the patina after a few weeks.
Payment:
Payment can be made by Paypal, bank transfer or cheque. If you pay by cheque then it will take a few days to clear and I will not be able to make a start on your order until it is cleared.
Cancellation:
You have the right to cancel your order up till 7 days after you have received your item(s) this gives you time to inspect them and contact us in writing (with exception of commisioned items). If we do not hear from you within the 7 days we will assume all is well and you are happy with your product. If you do wish to cancel we will refund all money paid including origional shipping costs, you will assume responsibility for return postage. consumers are under a statutory duty throughout the period of cancellation to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them.
If when purchasing an item and a free gift is given you are also responsible for returning that item along with the original item purchased should you cancel the order.
With commissioned or personalised items you have up till the purchase is paid to cancel your order; once the purchase price is paid and we have confirmed receipt, we will be in agreement that the item is in the process of production and due to the unique nature of the item it would not be possible to resell it. Therefore the consumer will not have the option to cancel once their order is under way.
Returns:
When a product reaches you and you are not satisfied with it please contact us in the first instance then return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of receipt and I will correct any faults as soon as possible and return the item to you. If you receive an item and it is damaged or you suspect transit damage please contact us within 3 days of receipt so we may remedy this for you. We endeavour to pack items well to lessen the risk of damage in transit.
Faulty items:
Faulty items will be replaced or refunded providing the item is returned to us with a clear explanation of the fault, we will deal with faulty items on a case by case basis and will do our best to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Please contact us prior to returning an item so we know to expect an incoming delivery.
Postage costs will be refunded in the instance of genuine faulty items.
Lead Time for Delivery:
We aim to post ready made items out to the consumer within 2 working days, as a mother to 4 children sometimes this is not possible due to illness etc, in that case I will inform you when I will be posting your item.
If an item has been commissioned then we will make arrangements with the purchaser via e-mail to confirm approximate lead time and give regular updates.
All items will be posted by 1st class recorded delivery.
Items for sale:
We endevour to keep all items listed on this web site available for sale but due to the nature of our business we do attend craft fairs and this can unfortunatly lead to some items being sold prior to being able update our web site, in such cases should they occur we will offer the person a full refund or to choose an alternative item.
