EPraise is an online praise and rewards system designed to motivate teachers and students within schools. It allows students to register and save up praise points they receive online, and then track their progress against other students, tutor groups, years and houses.

The School has been founded and will be run by highly accomplished Peripatetic Music Teachers; Laura Hutchings & Ruth Tetley with over a decade of experience, working within local Schools, music groups, performance & music festivals. The inspiration for the School has been based on what children of all abilities like to learn and gives everyone the opportunity to create, direct and showcase their own achievements. All aspects of learning will be carefully guided to bring out the confidence and creativity of each individual. The day will be carefully timetabled, to incorporate an exciting and fun approach to music. Children will be given the opportunity to make their own instruments, which will be used in a group performance - these are of course, theirs to keep. EMHS will provide a diversity of instruments from woodwind, stringed, electronic to percussion, for the children to trial and perform with. Along with the chance to to draw on their own vocal abilities. Music theory, composition (including lyric writing) will be offered to everyone - all compositions will be written into score and a recording can be provided on disc. Time is dedicated, if it is desired, for one to one tuition on a specific instrument. EMHS, is welcoming to any child regardless to ability - complete beginners will be an asset too as we aim to inspire all budding musicians. The School opens from Monday 29th July 2013 - Friday 30th August 2013. This incorporates 5 full working weeks. Each week will be timetabled and themed, for full viewing, so that individual days, weeks or the full term may be chosen. School commences at 9am through to 3.30pm - with one to one tuition opportunities between the hours of 3.30pm and 5.30pm. The Schools prices reflect the professionalism within the school and what your child will gain from it. This is not a generic holiday club, it is highly structured and skills will be worked towards and achieved. EMHS is open to suggestions to what you would like your child to achieve. Full week: £100.00 Daily rate: £25.00 Half day: £15.00 (9am - 12pm / 12.30pm - 3.30pm) Hourly rate: £5.00 Prices are based on per child, however, sibling & full 5 week discount is given. As we are already taking bookings and at some point will have limited spaces a deposit will be required along with the completion of a booking form. Full balance will be required by the 22nd July 2013. One to one tuition will also need to be booked and prices are available upon request. Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre is a renowned non-residential outdoor adventure and education centre based on Exeter's historic Shipping Canal and River Exe. We have been providing training for Apprenticeships in Accounting and the AAT qualification since 1992 and as Accountancy Plus Training were once of the largest such providers in the country. We were recognised by the Learning & Skills Council as a Centre of Vocational Excellence in Accounting and more recently were the first provider in the country to achieve Certification in the Training Quality Standard with Excellence in Accounting. A theme there somewhere? We have always supported distance learning and took the decision recently to provide a distinct service focused primarily on this learner group, as opposed to those attending our taught courses. Distance learners have specific needs and these need to be catered for. We have for a number of years developed interactive accountancy learning materials, which are available 24×7 on our Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle. These form the bedrock of our distance learning course, supported by traditional study manuals, where relevant, and as importantly, the availability of a team of personal tutors, accessible by email or telephone, to guide and support you through your studies.
