The Christopher Song Archive

The Christopher Song Archive

Municipal Buildings, The Moor,, Falmouth ,
Christopher Song was an inventor and explorer from Falmouth, Cornwall born in the mid 19th century and reported missing in April 1914. Song had a long history of exploration and experimentation, and in this archive we hold a collection of objects and papers linked to these experiments. The fact Christopher Song is not better known outside of Falmouth is a mystery, and we hope that with time this great man will become better known, and our aim to have a blue plaque on the wall of The Poly dedicated to him will be realised. Please note the archives held in The Cornish Studies collection will be open Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, Sat pm when archivists are available.
