FJSC is a volountary run football club. we have saturday morning football for reception up to year 12. we also have representative teams from under 7 to under 18. we also have a girls section on a saturday morning. Formby Junior Sports Club was founded in January 1959 when Jim Rourke MBE took his son Frank for a game of football at Duke Street Park. A number of boys asked to join in, they enjoyed it so much that they told their friends about it, in no time there were enough boys for 4 football teams! In the late 70's and throughout the 80's I stood on the touchline watching my son and his friends play football even spending a period of time as a manager, don't mention team selection and squad rotation to me, I know all about it. The oddest moment occurred one Sunday morning when I found myself, along with other ordinary Dads, in the company of Phil Neal, Kenny Dalglish, and Howard Kendall also on the touchline, all as Dads there to support their sons, funny game football!

We would love you you to join us at any of our weekly services. These are 8.30am and 10.30am every Sunday morning, and a 6.30pm service every second Sunday of the month. Midweek services are Meditation at 8.30 pm most Mondays, Morning Prayer at 8.30 am most Tuesdays and Holy Communion at 9.15 am every first Thursday.

We are Pedal Power of Formby, Liverpool and have a growing range of bikes from £80 children's bikes to top end £9000 Bianchi race bikes. We stock mountain, BMX, road race, fixed wheel, ladies town, hybrid and electric bikes. We offer great service, repairs and general bike help
