The Zodiac are an amateur musical theatre society based in Cheshire and we perform musicals on an annual basis. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and professional group who welcome new members and supporters. We rehearse in Frodsham & Runcorn, Cheshire and perform our shows at The Brindley in Runcorn and more intimate productions at Frodsham Community Centre. The Zodiac are members of NODA. We have now put together 7 great shows back to back at The Brindley. Our venue debut production of Oklahoma!, the high octane Hot Mikado, Anything Goes, Carousel, Kiss Me Kate,Copacabana and most recently in April 2012 our musical hi-light Guys And Dolls. We are always delighted to welcome new performing or supporting members and of course members of our audience. JOIN US! Would you like to join us on stage? Can you sing? Can you dance? Or do you fancy becoming part of our backstage or business teams? None of the above? Then how about helping front of house? Or just come along to make some new friends and have a great time. The society performs two musical shows a year. We have members of all ages and all are welcome. Stage or musicals experience is not required, so come along and give it a try. In addition to having weekly rehearsals, we organise a variety of regular social events or failing that head down to the pub after rehearsals! Rehearsals are currently based at The Heath Business Park -Runcorn & Frodsham Community Centre. Please check the rehearsal schedules for venue details. Our shows are performed at the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn. The Society meets every Thursday at 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm for general rehearsals. Principal rehearsals are typically Tuesdays at 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm.
