Sue and Rich Hindle have been running Padma Trading, a British Association of Fair Trade Shops and registered importer of Fair Trade silver jewellery since 2003. For those of you not able to come and visit our shop in Glastonbury, we are now pleased to be able to offer a selection of items on-line. You can look through our gallery there and see our shop and the many other items we have for sale, as well as photos from our visits to the crafts people who create these wonderful pieces.

Our shop, The Wild Hunt, is situated in the famously eccentric - and deeply spiritual - town of Glastonbury in Somerset. It takes it's name from the fabled spectral hunt which is said to burst forth from the depths of Glastonbury's famous Tor at Samhain. The hunt is associated with other regions too, and is said to be led by the horned God Cernunnos, or his English counterpart Herne, or even Arthur himself. Here in Glastonbury it is Gwyn ap Nudd, the king of the celtic otherworld who rides at the head of his pack of ghostly white hounds and hunts down the souls of the dead. You won't find artwork or artifacts depicting the Goddess in our shop. The Wild Hunt is dedicated to honouring the God in all his aspects, and to celebrating the Divine male. Blessed Be.

My work explores the process of painting on to silk. It is an immediate and spontaneous technique. The magic begins as soon as the dye touches the silk and the flow is very unpredictable. I use the dyes sensually and let the mystical associations move and flow. My passions are colour and light. I am an Aura Soma Colour Therapist and have spent many years exploring the healing and transformative power of colour and how it affects all aspects of our beings. I paint Wall Art and also lengths of silk which can be draped around the body as Wearable Art. Each piece of silk has its own unique meditative qualities and energies and is inspired by the mysterious and spiritual qualities of nature.

Our passion is to reclaim the myth and magic of western pagan traditions and support a pagan way of life - an earth honouring spirituality which brings us closer to the natural world, celebrates the Earth and the rhythm of Her seasons, and reflects and empowers our concerns for this beautiful fragile planet.
