Both old and young camp on our fields. We have adequate toilet facilities and freshwater supplies for these outdoor guests. Every year we are visited by the TWITS and AMPS who meet from UK wide and camp in our fields. We have catered for Marquee based parties and receptions. This year we hope to obtain a wedding licence. We have a large car park and overflow car park for your convenience. Hot air balloons have flown from our back fields for many years and we are locally know as "the ballooning pub". The Balloons can been seen in the skies travelling along the Misbourne Valley. This is a regular event in the seasonal summer months. The Misbourne School is a co-educational secondary school in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. It is a community school, which takes children from the age of 11 through to the age of 18. The school has approximately 1,225 pupils.HistoryThe Misbourne was the first purpose-built secondary modern school in the country. The first pupils started at the school on 19 December 1955, although it did not officially open until 20 January 1956. Originally there were only twenty-five students.The school celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2005/6.
