We are located in the pleasant market town of Halstead, Essex, in a former silk weaving mill. While there can be no substitute for a visit to the beautiful Townsford Mill building, we hope the following pages will give you a flavour of what's available at our Centre. Our online catalogue is growing daily, but it merely gives a hint at the tens of thousands of interesting items housed in our historic building. Ranging from antiques, to clothes, to home interiors - there really is something for everyone. Situated halfway between Chelmsford and Cambridge, we are also close to the A120 and the A12. With a prize winning restaurant/cafe/bar on the ground floor, and the Town museum next door, Townsford Mill makes an ideal place for a family day out. Be sure to come and visit us soon.

EVERY MONDAY - BUMPS, BABIES & TODDLER GROUP Time: 10:00 -- 12:00 Weekly coffee morning for all mums-to-be and parents of under-5s, or anyone interested in finding out more about the NCT. All are welcome – you do not have to book a place or be an NCT member to come along. The playgroup boasts a carpeted area for babies and a large indoor space for older children to run free! We have craft activities, games and a HUGE array of good quality fun and educational toys! Refreshments are provided. Come and enjoy tea and biscuits and a chat. Every Monday.
