Welcome! Wadsworth Community Centre is located in the heart of Old Town, a village situated above the attractive and well known town of Hebden Bridge. Old Town has fantastic views across the valley and at least one more hour of sun in the summer months as we are so high up the valley! The centre is not only a venue hosting regular activities, it is also a great choice for hiring out for private parties and events. We have a main large function room with great space for parties and funtions or for running activities. A smaller room with a pool table in the bar area can also be used at any time, and hired out with the larger function room if desired. The centre is also home to a bowling green which is a popular attraction. There is seating within the grounds, so if you are passing please do take a moment to enjoy the grounds that are so well tended to by our fabulous gardener. It is actually quite an idyllic spot and one which is not enjoyed enough! Kitchen facilities are also available which is always handy for private parties. I have been hand making cards for over 5 years for various occasions.
