The Cornwall School of Art, Craft and Jewellery has been founded by two UK craft and jewellery artists, Julia Rai and Marion Wilson. Their vision is for this centre to bring together the very best teachers in the fields of art, craft and jewellery, in an inspiring creative environment.
Award winning artist Julia Rai, a regular contributor to a number of UK magazines, has been an active member of the metal clay community for many years. Internationally well known as Director of the Metal Clay Academy, her work has appeared in multiple publications, magazines and competitions. She is a qualified adult education teacher and holds numerous qualifications in metal clay.
Mixed media artist Marion Wilson is a potter who has incorporated beading, wirework, glass fusing, silver work, wax carving and metal clay into her repertoire. She has run her own successful jewellery business for several years, teaching classes, taking commissions and selling her work in a number of galleries in the South of England.
