The Flambards Experience

The Flambards Experience

The Flambards Experience is a family-owned amusement park on the southern outskirts of the town of Helston in Cornwall, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1976 as the 'Cornwall Aircraft Park' by Douglas Kingsford Hale MBE and his wife Audrey and is now run by their son James Kingsford Hale. Now named Flambards, the theme park has become one of the leading attractions in the south west for rides, exhibitions and family entertainment. Flambards also features a combination of live entertainment from children's celebrities such as The Simpsons, Peter Pan and Snoopy as well as its own park mascot - a fox named "Ferdi Flambard". While the park does not boast a significant lineup, the park is currently trying to add at least one new ride or feature to the park every year.AttractionsThe Big Ride ZoneThe park has a selection of thrilling rides tucked away at the side of the park as to not disrupt the natural beauty of other areas.
