Wycombe General Hospital is located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. It is one of three hospitals in the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, the other two being Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Amersham Hospital.

Blink FM is a local FM radio station which broadcasts to areas of South Buckinghamshire in the United Kingdom - areas of reception include High Wycombe, Hazlemere, Downley, Beaconsfield, Penn and the northern area of Marlow. The station is administered by volunteer staff of charity Wycombe Youth Action as a youth project, and presented regularly by local WYA members. The current station managers are Luke Hashman and Liam Gates. They provide the support to all the presenters!

The Marlow Branch Line is a 7.25-mile (11.67 km) single track railway line between Maidenhead, Berkshire, Bourne End and Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England. Passenger services are operated by First Great Western using Class 165 diesel trains. The line connects to the Great Western Main Line at Maidenhead station, and uses a section of the former Wycombe Railway line to High Wycombe together with the former Great Marlow Railway.The train that runs on the branch line is known as The Marlow Donkey although the exact derivation of the term is unclear. Karau and Turner say "the trains of pack horses, mules and donkeys carrying goods to the riverside prompted the local people to christen the train on the Great Marlow Railway, the 'Marlow Donkey', a name which survives to this day". However, Anthony Wethered, great-grandson of the first chairman of the company, suggests that it is the name of the line. A third tradition identifies a particular locomotive. A pub in Marlow is named after it.

Adams Park is a football stadium in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Built in 1990, it is the home ground of Wycombe Wanderers F.C. and Rugby Union club London Wasps.Between 2003 and 2006, the stadium was known as The Causeway Stadium under a naming rights deal, before reverting to its traditional name.HistoryWycombe Wanderers had sought to leave their home ground at Loakes Park since the 1960s as the site had been earmarked for the site of development of the adjacent Wycombe General Hospital. The club were able to sell the land to the health authority, which almost solely funded the construction of Adams Park. Situated on the edge of the Sands Industrial Estate in High Wycombe, the stadium was opened in time for the 1990–91 season, and had a capacity of 6,000 with 1,267 seats in the Main Stand. The ground was named Adams Park in honour of benefactor and former captain Frank Adams. Adams had bought the former ground Loakes Park for the club, whose sale financed the move to the stadium named after him.The new stadium coincided with an upturn in the club's fortunes as, under the guidance of Martin O'Neill, they won the FA Trophy at Wembley thanks to a 2–1 win over Kidderminster Harriers. A few months after entering the Football League in 1993, the crush barriers on the terraces at Adams Park were upgraded, taking the capacity to almost 10,000. In the summer of 1996 the 4,990-seater Woodlands Stand was built on the hill behind the erstwhile Woodlands Terrace. The Hillbottom Road end, where the visiting fans are accommodated, was seated, reducing its capacity from well over 2,000 standing spaces to 1,049 seats. The latter development had created problems when large amounts of visiting fans came to the ground, outstripping the supply of seats in that end when sides like Watford, Birmingham City and Manchester City visited.

Subsequent base closures led to two moves: to Bushey Hall in 1962, and to RAF Daws Hill, its final location, in 1971.For the 2006–2007 school year, LCHS merged with West Ruislip Elementary School, which had closed in the spring of 2006. Consequently, it accommodated grades K-12 and "elementary" was added to the school's name. At the time of its closing, LCEHS was the last remaining DoDDS school with dormitories.The USNAVEUR Headquarters were relocated from London to Naples, Italy in 2007. Marlow United F.C. is a football club based in Marlow, England. They were established in 1977 and were among the founding members of the Reading Football League in 1989. They play in the Reading League.HistoryThe club was formed in 1977 and started in division 5 of the Wycombe & District Football League for the 1977–78 season. The following season they were promoted to the second division, but at the end of the season United were expelled from the league due to the other member clubs voting the team out of the league. Marlow then joined the Pages East Berks Football League for the 1979–80 season. United returned to the Wycombe League in 1982–83, playing in the First Division. They remained in the First division until they were promoted as champions to the Senior Division in the 1984–85 season.For the 1987–88 season United decided to leave the Wycombe & District Football League to join the Premier Division of the then Reading & District Football League. One Season later United won promotion as runners up to the senior division. The Reading & District Football League & Reading Combination amalgamated and in 1990 became known as the Reading Football League with its Senior Division taking on Step 7 status in the FA National League System. Marlow United FC became joint founder members of this league. In 2004–05 they went on to become the only side from Buckinghamshire to ever win the Reading Football League Championship.At the end of the 2005–06 season United finished runners-up in the Senior Division and gained promotion to the Division One East of the Hellenic League, which was made possible two years previous when they embarked on a ground share agreement with Flackwell Heath FC, leaving their original home of Gossmore Lane. United created yet another first in the club's history when in the 2006–07 season as they made a historic first ever appearance in the FA Vase, seeing them triumph over Wessex League Premier team Bournemouth FC by 2–1 in front of a crowd of 161. Although United were to lose 2–1 in the next round they still earned the accolade of 'FA Vase team of the round' for their giant killing exploits over Bournemouth FC. The 2007–08 season saw United make their first ever appearance in the FA Cup, a 2–1 defeat to Cove, and in promotion to the Hellenic Premier division.
