I've been involved with motor sport since I was 8 when I used to watch my dad, John Crick, race his sidecar. He also used to build sidecars professionally alongside Terry Windle for a while (known as 'Crook and Swindle' unfortunate names - not business policy) so as you can imagine bikes and things with engines in are in the blood. I raced competitively myself from 17 to 26 starting on production bikes then moving on to open class 250 GP bikes with some Pro -Am Racing as well. Since then I've raced Karts, Moto-cross, F2 Sidecars and still do some Classic Bike Racing thanks to Jerry Lodge of Earnshaws Motorcycles, Huddersfield. I've also worked as a Race Technician for the likes of Troy Corser, James Haydon and Michael Rutter mainly analysing and looking after the data logging systems. Anyway, you may well ask why am I boring you with all this drivel? Its just to prove to you that I have a lot of experience of being a motor sport racer and engineer as well as mechanical and electrical/electronic skills (Bach of Eng).This makes me the ideal person to buy a motor sport based technical gadget from.
