All Souls Ivybridge - ASI

All Souls Ivybridge - ASI

Your probably thinking oh great another church with people who are gonna preach at me! Not a chance lol, fun, laughter, music, friendship, acceptance and understanding are just few few things you'll find at Ivybridge. Yes team members and some visitors give short talks with references to the bible but hthey are able to speak in a way that makes it, interesting and leaves you wanting to know more. One of the other great things about Ivybridge community church is that they have a children's church were the kids can draw, and play games and make things while they lean about god in a fun environment. A real church with honest people, a family! I still remember the first time I came to church, a friend of mine, asked me one day if I would come along? “You are joking, no sorry love I don’t do "religion“. Besides I was convinced I was going to be told about how much of a sinner I was and that if I didn’t repent, then I would go to hell. Don’t get me wrong I respect people’s beliefs and have always thought hey if you want to believe that then you go ahead, but don’t try and push it on to me, cos it won’t happen. Anyway after much persuasion and the promise of tea & cake. I said ok. but truly I’ve never felt as uncomfortable as I did on that first visit To be honest I can’t pin point the moment at which I let my guard down, all I do know is that as I started to really listen to Luke’s talks things where making sense to me more and more (Luke is the former vicar off icc) For me at first it was not about god, it was about a group of people who were so very welcoming, non judgmental and accepting of everybody no mater what there back ground. I could say so much more, but hey you don't need me going on and on. However do keep checking back regularly cos you never know what you might read :-) If your wondering what the drawing of the angel child is all about, he reminded the creator of the logo of little josh, the son of the origanal vicar at ivybridge sweet huh! :-) this group gives people the opportunity to discus issues that matter to them regarding faith etc and also, tell their story's of how they found god. Take a look at the discussion boards, videos and pics open to all, however plz no bad language or rude comments, everyone is entitled to voice their opinion and not be be judged for that opinion The journey of life is a long one and the road we walk is not always easy but as I grow in my faith though study and prayer, I realize that if life was easy there would be no point living it and I have always believed that our experiences as children, teenagers and young adults help shape use in to the people we are. You will find us on the top floor of the bridge link center every sunday Services start at 3pm Find out right here all the latest news about up and coming events being held by the church for the local community. .

c/o Community Safety Partnership, 3rd Floor, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham ,
3HCF is the Hate Crime, Harassment and Hostility Community Forum in Richmond upon Thames. We were established by the Community Safety Partnership in 2010 to bring together Council, police, voluntary and community organisations and local residents to reduce the impact of Hate Crime, Harassment and Hostility in Richmond upon Thames. We meet quarterly with speakers and discussion on topical issues. We provide an opportunity for networking and partnership working. Whilst the Forum does not directly provide services to victims and witnesses of Hate Crime, Harassment and Hostility, many of our members do, and we can signpost people appropriate support services. The meetings of the 3HCF are open to the public and we encourage any community organisation with an interest in the subject to become members.
