Enactus Keele University
Enactus Keele is the University’s contribution to Enactus, which has in total 62,000 students in 1,600 universities across 38 countries.
Entrepreneurship, action, us. We’re all about using enterprising skills to support the needs of the community. We encourage students from any academic discipline to develop projects that create economic opportunities for people in the Staffordshire area or overseas. This can be done by e.g. improving financial or literacy skills or helping people to develop their own personal skills. Students are guided by university and business advisers to form a student-led Enactus team.
Past enactus projects range from putting on Maths workshops in local schools, to teaching the elderly IT skills, helping a young entrepreneur to develop a business plan, teaching English to immigrant communities or helping a hospice develop a marketing plan and new products to sell.
Enactus is dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial skills of university students in a way that is both effective in developing their future careers and meaningful to the community.
