East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action exists to represent and support volunteers, the voluntary sector and social enterprises, to assist volunteers and organisations in coming together for common purposes, and to enable local people to gain access to decision making processes which affect their communities. It will present common policies and concerns of local volunteers, voluntary organisations and social enterprises and develop new ways of responding to need in partnership with other agencies and statutory bodies concerned with social and economic regeneration.
