Terribly Well Preserved
At Terribly Well Preserved we make everything in small batches in our Leighton Buzzard kitchen. Where possible we source our fruits and vegetables from farms and growers local to our home in Bedfordshire, indeed some of the vegetables and herbs you'll find in our jars we've grown ourselves. A lot of our farmed fruit and vegetables come from Grove Farm, near Leighton Buzzard. Our chilies come from the Edible Ornamentals chili farm on the Bedfordshire / Cambridgeshire border. A few of our products, such as the hedgerow jelly and the rose-hip syrup, have been made with wild fruit we've foraged. We only use seasonal produce, making as many preserves as we can when a particular fruit or veg is in season. This means once we sell out of a product, such as strawberry jam, we can't replace our stock until the new season's crop of strawberries arrives.
We're happy to package up our preserves as pretty as we can so you can give them to folk as gifts. Looking for unusual Wedding favours? We can make our jars small and personalised.
