Much of the building has now been restored creating an inspiring workspace and we host a variety of functions when the machines are switched off at night. The Islington Metal Works is now also available as a fully licensed flexible event space. There are three operational bar's. One in the courtyard, another in the restaurant and one by the club dance floor. These spaces can be used independently or linked accommodating up to 500 people. A Turbosound Highlite system suitable for live acts or D.J's is installed on the dance floor. Modular staging is kept in house if live acts perform. This can also be configured as a catwalk for fashion shows on the dance floor. Our operations team have tackled any challenges presented to them. We have the ability to provide event support at any level.

Having acquired the keys to this 120 year-old Russian Tavern through a set of strange and mysterious circumstances; partners-in-crime Antoin Commane & Diego Bivero-Volpe are set to re-open this infamous St. Petersburg bar this Autumn in London's Royal Borough directly opposite Kensington Palace... # Ruski's Tavern - A HISTORY Nikolai Mavirusskyi was a General in the Imperial Russian Army. A proud soldier, he made a small fortune by way of his various campaigns in the south of Russia and through gifts from the Tsar; a grateful and personal friend of Nikolai's. With his lifelong savings, he built an elegant Tsar Tavern (the name given to the world's first Vodka bars) just off Winter Square in St Petersburg, on a street behind the Tsar's famous Winter Palace, intended to be a meeting place for his fellow Russian elite. The bar traded well and successfully attracted the upper echelons of Russian society, from military men to artists and aristocrats. Sadly, General Mavirusskyi died several years later - defending his friend the Tsar from Lenin's “Soviet Revolution”. The bar survived however, and his wife Maria, took charge, changing the name to “Marirusskyi's Tavern” in honour of her late husband. Amazingly, the bar survived the next hundred years, continuing to be a meeting place for Russia's elite and providing a safe haven for them to meet, drink and debauch together. 120 years after opening, Ruski's Tavern (as it is affectionately now referred to), is owned by General Mavirusskyi's great grandson, Vladimir (currently in his 60's) who has let it slip into a state of slight disrepair, closing its doors and preferring to drink the famously wide selection of vodka on stock rather than to serve it. On a wild (and drunken) night out, he meets Diego & Antoin and bets them the keys to his family's once beloved bar and loses. Diego and Antoin go on search for their new bar, finding it in a dusty old basement, and vowing to return it to its former glory as the beautiful, fun and debauched hangout of those in the know.

Bodo's Schloss is in the setting being that of a farmhouse, seemingly worlds away from the urban hustle and bustle, with smiling staff in dressed in traditional lederhosen and dirndls. The result is a fun, egalitarian environment where one can either pop in for an “après work” drink/bite to eat or sit down to enjoy a relaxing dinner then enjoy late night dancing with tunes spun by a DJ in a 70’s cable car. Bodo’s Schloss’ drink selections include fine Austrian wines and beer steins as well as their own brand of homemade schnapps. Fun drinking vessels include champagne served in milk urns, shots served on antique skis, shared vessels in replicas of ski boots or, for those that dare, the signature cocktail in a handmade ice castle carving costing £5,000. The food selection is just as fun and diverse, created by chefs recruited from Kitzbuhel, in order to produce a menu with delicious, authentic fare. The element of authenticity does not stop with the food and wine. In order to give the feel of an Austrian farmhouse, 300-year-old tiles were imported for parts of the flooring. 200-year-old Austrian was wood sourced for the interior walls, and also handcrafted for the booths and benches for a family-like dining atmosphere. Bodo's restaurant and late night bar is open from 5pm Monday to Sunday. Disco from 10pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday has a 21 years policy. Those who take part in wearing traditional lederhosen, dirndl or mountain wear may entitle complimentary entrance. Please ensure you arrive in mixed groups and are all presentably dressed entry at discretion of the door. Restaurant and party table reservations recommended. From 5pm join us for Feirabend, a celebration of evening. Prost!

Malden Golf Club is situated near Kingston upon Thames in Surrey 10 miles south west of the heart of London with easy access by road and rail. Our picturesque course, set in 120 acres of mature parkland, offers a peaceful golfing haven in the midst of the New Malden suburbs. The golf course was opened in 1926,and though considerable improvements have been carried out since then, the original design and character of the course remain today. Before or after playing you can also relax and enjoy the hospitality and catering in our well appointed clubhouse which offers views across the course. We are a private members club, regarded as one of the friendliest in the area, where guests, visitors and societies are all made very welcome. The Club offers golfers of all standards the opportunity to enjoy competitive and social golf throughout the year. There is a very active ladies section that organises a wide variety of golfing and social events. There are also regular competitions and matches for the more senior members in the Club.
