Intelligent Life shares The Economist’s fondness for crisp prose, dry wit and free thinking. But rather than covering politics and economics, it is about life in general and making the most of your time off, from tailoring to museums, hotels to philanthropy, choosing wine to going green.
We mix our Economist writers with leading authors such as A.S. Byatt, Julian Barnes, Douglas Coupland and William Boyd. We talk to interesting people from Philip Pullman to Zaha Hadid. We have regular columns from Tim Atkin on wine lists, with photography and illustration to match the elegance of the writing.
The magazine is on sale widely throughout the UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa, and in selected outlets elsewhere.
It is also available, for free, on iPad and iPhone, thanks to Credit Suisse.
