Pole Magnets originally opened in June 2008 and is run by Beccy Summers who has over 14 years of experience in the business We have classes across Derbyshire where we teach and link various dance moves and pole skills to people of all ages and abilities. We even have an especially thin pole for those with smaller hands! Our Pole Fitness classes are a great way to get fit, building strength up gradually and providing variety to a fitness routine with the ability to work on both static poles and spinning poles as well as the ability to perform on a raised stage and even on a stage pole. Many people assume you need lots of upper body strength to participate. Although good upper body strength will rapidly excel your progress, it is not necessary. Even if you regularly attend a gym you may not have used your muscles in the same way as you would in pole dancing. All the beginner moves are designed to build your strength up, starting with the upper body and core. The noticeable improvements in just a few sessions are remarkable so don't be put off by what others can do because you will get there soon enough if you continue with Pole Dancing at Pole Magnets Pole Dance Tuition. We also have a directory of pole moves in every class so you have inspiration for any new moves so there's no chance of you getting bored either! For those of you who require a bit more, we offer more intensive training in Pole Acrobatics and Dance either in a purpose built studio or in your own home when you are a bit more comfortable with pole dancing so there is always room to improve. If you are considering joining the Pole Magnets community then bear in mind that: - Prices are currently £8 a session or £30 for a block of four weeks for pole! - Wear some shorts or hotpants and a tank top for best grip on the pole - Wear heels or come bare foot, whichever you will feel more comfortable in - Please don't moisturize 24 hours before coming to the lesson because you won't be able to grip to the pole! - we do hold intermittent workshops such as burlesque (please see Jessica Rabbit's Burlesque Review) and heel workouts Classes are as follows: - Monday 7.30-8.30 - Tuesday 7.30-8.30 - Wednesday 8.00-9.00 (with Ceri) - Burlesque hoping to restart soon! - Thursday 7.30-8.30 - Friday 1.30-2.30 Pole Hire, parties and private lessons available at all other times. Green Chili Barbeque Grill is a new kind of concept featuring traditional British cuts of meat for carvery lunch and Indian spiced barbecue grill meat for dinner. New Inn will be the first pub to future this concept, hopefully this concept will follow to many other pubs in the country. New Inn is located next to market in the town of Long Eaton which is large market town. Long Eaton is located between the city of Nottingham and City of Derby. Both of these cities are at short driving distance. We are very certain that we will attract many customers from Long Eaton locals to cities of Nottingham and Derby. Along with several dining choices pub/restaurant will also have weekly happy hour drink specials along with lunch and dinner specials. The existing ‘New Inn pub is the oldest pub in Long Eaton and the only remaining pub of the first 3 built – it’s therefore very special and highly regarded by the local community. The proposals are maintain the historic value of the pub however to undertake modernisation of the environment and offer over and above traditional food modern flavoured food alongside under the branding of ‘Green Chili Barbeque Grill’. The New Inn will serve traditional British breakfast on Four market days and lunch being served through a newly installed Carvery. Dinner will be served from our specially imported rotisserie charcoal grill, food served will be mainly barbecue Indian style. Dinner dishes will feature a variety of boldly flavoured, made-to-order limited menu items. Our pub/restaurants will create an inviting neighbourhood atmosphere that will include an extensive lighting and media system, a full bar and an open layout, which will appeal to young, elderly and families alike. Our concept offers elements of the quick casual and casual dining restaurant concepts featuring a flexible service model that allows our guests to choose among convenient dining options such as quick casual counter service, casual dining table service or take-out. Our award-winning food and inviting atmosphere, combined with our guests’ ability to customize their dining experience will drive repeat guest visits and loyalty. We want to establish our brand through coordinated marketing and operational execution that ensures brand recognition and the quality and consistency of our concept. These efforts include marketing programs, advertising to support our pub/restaurant. Our concept is further strengthened by our emphasis on operational excellence supported by stringent operating guidelines and comprehensive employee training.
