Parkend Club
Parkend club is situated in the beautiful rural village of Parkend in the forest of dean, Gloucestershire. The area is full of tourist attractions and historical stories. For example, the steam Railway station which
The club itself is a friendly and welcoming building with disabled access and ample parking.
Inside the club you will find cheerful barstaff and a host of drinks ranging from locally brewed beers to modern day favourites. There is also of course a range of soft drinks for the children who are always welcome.
The bar area holds a pool table, dart board and Quiots board; along with some games machines. Through the double access doors is the function room.
This room meassures approximately 40 ft x 25 ft (12m x 8m) and is ideal for any occassion. The club also sports its own kitchen facilities which can be used for organsing functions or events.
The room has been used in the past for:
Wedding receptions,
Birthday parties,
Retirement parties,
Anniversaries,
Fund raising events,
Live music events and discos.
All of which have run smoothly and enjoyably for everyone thanks to the staff and committee.
The room also doubles as a skittle alley which has been used on many occassions for charity knock out games.
The function room also holds a 2m square big screen for showing international football and rugby matches.
