Well behaved dogs welcome, kept on a lead in the park please. Lots of dog walks from our back gate. The camp site is level, fully equipped with toilets and showers and there are electric hook-up connections available. Small campfires allowed. We sell marshmallows and fire wood.

Leyland Country House opened its doors to B&B guests in September 2006. We have since gained a reputation for providing some of the best accommodation service in the area and are very proud of that. We offer individual, highly contemporary designed rooms that inspire and delight our clients. The house was originally built in 1927 for a local family called the Kings. They owned the very famous book shop in Lymington until it was sold to Waterstones just a few years ago. The fabulous, uninterrupted views surrounding the property are unique to Leyland as Mr King purchased the plot of land from a local farmer. We are now part of the New Forest National Park that was formed in 2005. I trained as a fashion designer at the London College of Fashion and whilst having my family, restored houses. I purchased Leyland in 2002, and apart from the King family, the house has had only one other owner. A year long project of transforming Leyland in to what it is today was completed in May 2005. Leyland Country House B&B is very much a family run business. My manager, Tracey West, is highly committed to our clients and is an excellent cook. So make sure you leave room for her famous breakfast! My children, Liberty, Saskia, Monty and Harley all work as part of the team too. Everyone is here, ready to welcome you to Leyland Country House. Lymington Yacht Haven is in a truly outstanding position, being the first marina that comes into sight as you make your way up the Lymington River. The unique combination of easy road, rail and air links, easy access to the Solent and the excellent facilities found ashore, make this marina the perfect location for anything from an overnight stay to a permanent base for your yacht.

"Successful on the water, friendly and welcoming ashore", the Club's objectives are to encourage and promote yachting in all its aspects, and to maintain a clubhouse and other facilities for the use of members and visiting yachtsmen. The emphasis of the Club is very much on the practical enjoyment of sailing and motor-boating, to which the extensive racing and social programme is an adjunct. We are proud of our Wednesday Junior Sailing (WJS) programme and our nationally and internationally successful fleets of Optimists, Cadets, Lasers, 420s and 470s. We are also delighted that three of our Club Members won medals at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Our keel-boats compete at National level and we are regular prize winners in individual classes at Cowes week and in the Round the Island Race. Members of reciprocal clubs and of other RYA recognised clubs whilst sailing in the West Solent are welcome to make use of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club bar and restaurant facilities. The Lymington Folk Club aims to become a focal point for acoustic music in the New Forest. Although it's called a 'folk' club it very much welcomes ALL styles. It meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at The Thomas Tripp Lymington.
