Mansfield is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1987 by Sir Alan Meale of the Labour Party.BoundariesThe constituency covers the town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.Latest Boundary ReviewThe Boundary Commission for England caused changes to constituency to allow for regional and local population changes, noticeably by moving the small town of Market Warsop from Bassetlaw into Mansfield constituency. The boundaries since the Fifth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies (since the 2010 general election) were coterminous with the Borough of Mansfield, to have wards: Berry Hill, Broom Hill, Cumberlands, Eakring, Forest Town East, Forest Town West, Grange Farm, Ladybrook, Leeming, Lindhurst, Oak Tree, Pleasley Hill, Portland, Priory, Ravensdale, Robin Hood, Sherwood. Birklands and Meden were added from 2010 having previously been part of Bassetlaw constituency Mansfield's elected Executive Mayor Tony Egginton unilaterally decided to reduce the number of ward councillors (from 46 to 36) whilst simultaneously increasing the number of wards from 17 + 2 (shown above) to 36 by applying to the Boundary Commission to re-structure ward layout and boundaries from 2011:

Mansfield Woodhouse railway station serves the town of Mansfield Woodhouse which adjoins the larger town of Mansfield. They are located in Nottinghamshire, England.The station on the Robin Hood Line between Nottingham and Worksop.ServicesThe station sees two services, an hourly Nottingham-Worksop and hourly Nottingham-Mansfield Woodhouse which terminates before returning. During the evening the Nottingham-Mansfield Woodhouse service does not run. A hourly Sunday service was introduced in December 2008 with the first and last service being extended to/from.East Midlands Trains also operate one daily service on Mondays to Fridays from here directly to Norwich. There is no returning train from Norwich back to Mansfield Woodhouse.

Mansfield railway station serves the large town of Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, England. Alternatively it is named Mansfield Town, to distinguish itself from Mansfield Woodhouse and the GCR's former Mansfield Central. The station is 17 miles (27 km) north of Nottingham on the Robin Hood Line and is managed by East Midlands Trains.The station has the PlusBus scheme where train and bus tickets can be bought together at a saving.Before the station was re-opened in 1995, the town was the largest in the United Kingdom without one, all the more remarkable when it is considered that Mansfield pioneered the railway in the East Midlands. The then nearest railway station, Alfreton, was known as "Alfreton and Mansfield Parkway".ServicesMonday to Saturday daytimes there is a half-hourly service from Mansfield to Nottingham and Mansfield Woodhouse with an hourly service onwards to Worksop. There is an hourly service during the evenings between Nottingham and Worksop. On Sundays a 1 - 2 hourly service runs between Nottingham and Mansfield but only 4 northbound and 5 southbound trains on Sundays run between Mansfield and Worksop. On Sundays the first train of the day and the last train back are operated through to Skegness.
