Help me to help all of us, put Margate back on the map.
Westwood cross was great for Thanet, but what is left of our town?
Some of us do not wish to have to travel so far all the time and to pay a fortune for everything when there.
I would like to ask of everyone who lives in and cares for their community to join my organisation. Pay £1.00 a week for the next three months, £1.00 a week!
The money will then help me to take on some of our local store fronts and open a department store offering quality and brand names but at a cheaper price than bigger stores and right on your doorstep.
Picture a kids store selling branded toys but at a cheaper rate and when it gets closer to christmas giving you the choice of some of the products we sell.
An adult store selling well known brands of lingerie and toys but at almost half the price of stores like Pillow talk and Ann summers.
Clothing ranges for men, woman and kids. Seasonal fashion shows, featuring local designers and giving you the customers/community a chance to pick ranges you would like to see and buy in store.
A confectionary store selling all your favourites. A hamper store selling own branded hampers, for all occassions and seasons.
A designer shoes and bag store at non designer prices. Ranges picked by yourselves at times and new local designers featured.
Wouldn't you like to see a thriving town again?
Wouldn't you like to see more than just second hand stores and pound stores?
A range of stores offering you brands such as Legs Avenue, City Goddess, Bench, Ladybird and so many more.
You would be helping to rebuild your town for you and future generations and its costing you just £1.00 a week for 12 weeks. Of course you can pay more if you want to, but it would be better if you could just get as many people as possible to join up and pay £1.00 a week. We will be taking the full £12 payment in one go via Pay Pal and hoping to be out and about the town collecting so you can choose how you want to pay.
I would like to also gain future support once the town is up and running in a year, to collect another £1 a week from everyone and to build our own ice rink. We have so much ground and so much opportunity but big invesors are not interested and small investors just dont have the money to chance. If we could come together we could really build ourselves up again. Imagine not just what it will look like, but the many jobs we are creating. We spend thousands of pounds a year on charitys and the money goes to foreign countries or other things we hardly ever benefit from, so why not spend a little on your own town and reap the benefits.
