Don't Panic Computing Limited started in 2010 as an idea to redefine the IT home user support platform. This was primarily sparked by an urge to give back to the community by helping people with various IT orientated tasks and activities. These ranged from helping people to get on to the internet to installing new software or to getting more out of there computer in terms of functionality. The idea expanded, the services offered moved on, and more of the community wanted help with PC repair and bespoke needs. The idea that started it all has now become a company, Don't Panic Computing was registered as a company in June 2011 to help more people with their IT stumbling blocks. As technology has moved on with the introduction of the tablet and other devices we have kept at the forefront of providing anyone with technical support. With our simple approach for helping anyone to realise the potential of their device or just to get it working again we have helped hundreds of people to use technology better. In 2013 we are planning to introduce our first paid for support platform, this will allow us to trial our services for anyone to request IT support for a variety of devices. The mechanics of this service mean we can help even more people in the community; whether it be by saving costs for local businesses; allowing more people to get connected to the IT world or by providing a support network where people feel they can try new things and not be afraid if it does not turn out as intended.
