After a whirlwind romance with bookselling during a week of government enforced work experience at the tender age of 14 I made the decision that Publishing was where i wanted to be. I wanted to be involved with books and the world of literature and reading. I wanted to be THAT literary agent who signed THAT author for an undisclosed figure in the Bookseller Magazine. A three year course in Publishing at Oxford Brookes University soon beat a much more realistic notion into my head and i decided it was bookSELLING that really held my interest. After a three year stint under the watchful tutelage of Blackwell's Bookshop in Oxford I decided to take the leap into a new career path. I am proud to say that I now own the bookshop that made me fall in love with bookselling.
