We are a small ‘boutique’ salon offering bespoke, organic and natural treatments given personally by the salon owner & senior therapist, Gemma Sharpe BA (Hons). For facials - Herbfarmacy organic* face creams, cleansing mousses, fruit/herb deep cleansing masks and healing skin rescue balms, ideal for sensitive skins. Key herbs have been selected for each product that provide sustained nourishment and protection for skin tissue. Dr Paul Richards, MD of Herbfarmacy, has been growing herbs organically on his herb farm in Herefordshire for 25 years. The products are ideal for sensitive skin conditions and are Soil Association certified. For Manicures: Jessica nail products* which were created with the health of the natural nail in mind. Jessica protects nails, offering weak, bitten or problem nails the opportunity to grow. Founded in 1969, Jessica remains the foremost centre of nailcare with its unique manicure technique and exceptional treatments. Like skin and hair, all nails are not alike. There are 4 different nail types - damaged, dry, brittle and normal - Jessica have created specific treatments for each type. The salon is named after the owner and senior therapist, who was born in Midhurst and educated at Midhurst Grammar School, Midhurst Intermediary School and St Margaret’s Convent. Gemma graduated with distinction in Beauty Therapy Sciences from Chichester College, after which she obtained a BA Honours degree in Business and Management from Southampton Solent University. Also in the salon is Val Sharpe, who has a degree in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Plant Sciences. Val will be on hand to give assistance in the range of Herbfarmacy and Nailcare products.
