Our Caravan The caravan is an 8 berth, 2007 Willerby with 3 bedrooms: 2 twins that can be adapted to make doubles and 1 double with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe! There is a double sofa-bed in the lounge to bring the bed sleeping capacity to 8, it also has another separate bathroom, lovely fitted kitchen with oven/grill, micro-wave, fridge/freezer and all utensils. It has a large TV./DVD combi, CD/radio and a picnic bench directly outside the caravan. Our caravan is near the lake where you can fish for free! and the local wildlife amble past. We are a 5 minute walk from the skyline pavilion where you can find so much going on, and 15 minutes from Minehead town. There is so much to see and do in and around Minehead with it’s magnificent countryside and friendly people. Sitting on the very edge of the National Park, Minehead is ideal for lovers of the coast and the countryside. Minehead offers traditional seaside fun, with its promenade and long, sandy beach, and pebble beach near the harbour, which stretches for a mile and gives views across the Bristol Channel to Wales.

Rainbows End On the Private owners park, Lakeside, at Butlins' Minehead, we have a caravan available to let. It is an 8 berth Willerby Salsa caravan built in 2012 and is fully equipped to a very high standard. Included in the price of breaks is use of all of Bultins faciities, including their live shows, sports training, the swimming complex, bars, clubs and the fairground. Some facilities carry an additional charge (like the high wire climbing area), but most are free and will keep the kids entertained for hours! If you are staying in the Caravan, you have full use of all the Butlins facilities if you wish, but it's an equally good location for just exploring this beautiful part of England. Exmoor starts practically in the town centre, you just have to climb the hill! Butlins' is brilliant if you have kids - from the really young right up to teenagers, there's plenty to keep them occupied. In addition to the standard facilities, there are also special event weekends like the Football Festival and plenty of stars from the likes of Britain's Got Talent and X-Factor appear for free too. With 3 bedrooms it is able to sleep 8. St Minver Holiday Park is a delightful woodland park only 6 miles from the friendly town of Wadebridge. Nestling in the grounds of an old manor house the leafy avenues provide a peaceful haven to enhance your holiday experience, Secluded and yet central to a multitude of activities, depending on your personal choice. There are wonderful walks surrounding St Minver Holiday Park so during the day you can relax in the spectacular woodland setting or use the park’s great facilities Close by visit Wadebridge with it's varied selection of exclusive shops and delightful cafes and bistros. Don't leave without tasting a Barnecutt pasty, (you will be back for more) There are also 2 supermarkets for your day to day groceries. Wadebridge is also the gateway to the very popular Camel trail. Here you can swap the hectic pace of today's roads and use pedal power to travel the 5 miles to the old fishing village of Padstow. The journey along a reclaimed rail track takes you close to the banks of the river Camel. The spectacular view of the estuary as you enter Padstow is breathtaking. As an alternative the trail continues from the other end of Wadebridge and wends it's way through more wooded terrain and until you reach the Borough arms at Dunmere near Bodmin. The beaches of Daymer Bay and Polzeath are a ten minute drive from the park. Polzeath is a haven for a very popular surf school and the waves are a playground for surfers of all abilities. When you have finished, relax on the golden sands and take in the view. Surf hire is readily available and there are restaurants, cafes, grocery and some clothing shops adjacent to the beach, which also provides ample parking. (pay at meter) Rock is also only 10 minutes away. Here you can learn to sail, water ski or windsurf. Take a drink whilst looking across the river moorings towards Padstow. Rock is also the departure point for the regular passenger ferry to Padstow, another way to see the estuary and arrive in the popular village. Walk on the sands alongside the river towards the open sea and discover the sand dunes and popular beach of Daymer Bay with its historic St Enodoc church. Many well known Golf Courses are within easy reach including St. Enedoc (2 courses), Trevose, Llanhydrock, Roserrow, and many more. On St Minvers Holiday Park there is a convenience store, stocking daily papers, groceries and many holiday goodies for the children. The 30 metre indoor pool and toddlers pool provides safe bathing for the family, with lifeguards in attendance at all times. Within the pool complex there is also a newly opened sauna (over 15s only). Laundrette. Outdoor Picnic Area, Nature trails, Adventure Play area, Crazy Golf and Multi Sports Court, Indoor Ball pool, Amusements, Pool Table, Darts and Table Tennis with a Cash Machine.There is also Wi-Fi available within the clubhouse. There is a lively clubhouse housed in the old manor house, which has a Pizza & Steakhouse Restaurant and takeaway serving a varied and popular menu. There is a full entertainment programme with a kids club efficiently organised by the sites entertainment team in the early evening, before the evening progresses to the "older children's" chance to be entertained. This is finished off by the resident team's disco. Please note: To use the club facilities and the pool there is a charge for weekly passes for everyone over the age of 2. Peak season £8.50p (Bank Hol weekends, Easter and Summer school holidays July and August). Off peak £7.50p, Short-break weekend/midweek £6.50p.
