Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness of the local marine environment. We were establised in 1996 and are based in New Quay, west Wales. The centre is run by a group that is a marine section of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales.

Set in beautiful surroundings a short walk from the Ceredigion Coastal Path. A wonderful base to enjoy the wildlife and stunning scenery of Cardigan Bay. Take a boat trip from New Quay to see the bottlenose dolphins (the best place in the UK to spot them). Or enjoy the wonderful coastal villages nearby , all with their own unique charm.

Cardigan Bay WaterSports is a registered charity, that promotes an active lifestyle on the sea with sports such as sailing, windsurfing and kayaking on offer, as well as keelboating and powerboating.

The sun is shining, the tide is in, and the dolphins (something New Quay is famous for) are jumping and playing in Cardigan Bay. You walk into our spectacularly located family run pub, which is both homely and contemporary, where you will be greeted by our friendly and attentive staff. This is the classic Penwig experience; one that is not complete without sampling our food which is home-cooked and prepared in our kitchen from locally sourced ingredients. Eat, enjoy a real ale, and take in the amazing views across Cardigan Bay.

Cardigan Bays original ecotourism boat trips, combining our local business with local conservation organisation, Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (part of the WIldlife Trust of South & West Wales). A variety of boat trips are available. Unique guided one hour Dolphin Survey Boat Trips from New Quay, Wales aboard our Rib 'Orca' or 1.5/2 hour, 4 hour or all day research surveys aboard our 10m hard boat Sulaire, with volunteers from the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre joining us to collect valuable data on the marine life encountered during our trips.
