1st Newbridge on Wye Scout Group
Our Beaver Colony (for children aged 5-7) meets on a Wednesday between 6:00 and 7:00. Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts will make friends, play games and go on visits, as well as participating in organised sleepovers and day events. They try to work towards a variety of badges in an effort to gain their Chief Scouts Bronze Award
Our Cub Pack (for children aged 8-10) meets on a Wednesday between 6:00 and 7:30. Cubs can be recognised by their distinctive green sweatshirts. Cubs will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting.They work towards a variety of badges in an effort to gain their Chief Scouts Silver Award.
Our Scout Troop (for children aged 10-14) meets on a Wednesday between 6:00 and 7:30. Scouts gain be recognise by their distinctive green shirt and knecker. They participate in a massive range of activities, from adventure and survival skills, to kayaking, orienterring, go-karting, international camps and more. They work towards a variety of badges to gain their Chief Scouts Gold Award.
