I am married to my husband Steve and we have an 9-year-old daughter called Stevie who is in Year 4. Previously i was a member of staff at Seabridge Primary School offering learning support, working in Early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. My home is registered as a childcare setting and we have a large playroom conservatory that stretches the width of the house. It is a warm, bright, light space for the activities we do and a great background for the children’s art work! The playroom faces our secure, lawned, private back garden which is home to Zeus and Apollo (the bunnies) and outdoor play equipment (swing, slide, tubes, bikes etc). I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and I record your child’s progress and development throughout the year in a learning journey, using ages and stages development matters assessment grids. I also provide a tailored parents guide to the EYFS so that i can work in partnership with parents. Below are some comments made by Ofsted and recorded on my report.
