Gap Medics specialises in hospital work experience and medical volunteer projects for 16-25 year old students from the UK, USA, Australia and many other countries. Gap Medics placements are for any students looking to enter careers in healthcare and offer an incredible, unique insight into hospital work in Tanzania, Thailand and The Czech Republic. Students get to shadow doctors and other health professionals, scrub in to observe surgical procedures, watch deliveries and Caesarean sections and assist at a level in line with their training. We also provide bespoke clinical teaching sessions to help students understand and interpret what they see on the wards, in theatre and in clinics. Our placements are fully supported by our own dedicated staff teams in every destination and students live together in our exclusive Gap Medics houses where safety, security and a great fun, social atmosphere are our top priorities.

The Walton Medical and Dental Library is in the Medical School and serves the needs of the Medical, Dental and Biomedical Sciences The Law Library is located in the Law Schoool and provides extensive resources for all those engaged in learning and researching law.
