The Friends of St John's Cemetery Elswick Newcastle Upon Tyne
We are a local community group committed to the preservation and the restoration of St John's Cemetery, Elswick, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Within our cemetery are some of the forefathers of the Iindustrial Revolution of the 1800-1900 century, without whom Newcastle upon Tyne's history would not exist. We aim to preserve the Heritage and Culture for the Communities of the West End of Newcastle, Past, present and future.

As the Voluntary group at St John's gains momentum we intend to offer a host of Community,Heritage and Cultural Services such as Research Facilities,Tours,Publications,Events and Meeting and Function Room Hire.
