Redditch Operatic Society, also known as ROS, was re-formed in 1959 and has staged at least one major musical theatrical production each year since the first one was performed in early 1960. The Society is affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), and are members of the Redditch Arts Council.

We are a new NHS organisation which looks after the health and wellbeing of Redditch and Bromsgrove residents. We are a clinically led organisation which means that the local doctors make decisions on healthcare services and how money is spent. We consist of 22 GP member practices that are working together to ensure the local population has high quality healthcare services which are sustainable. Clinical Commissioning Groups were born from the government NHS reforms in 2010. In Worcestershire there are 3 CCGs – Redditch & Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest and South Worcestershire.

The Redditch Guitar Club is run by Rocktave Music Teaching Studios, situated above Cafe Mambo @ No.5 in Redditch Town Centre. It is a great way to learn, perform and gain confidence. We start with a 30 minute lesson usualy given by Clem Dallaway, a guitar tutor since 1997 but other guest tutors will be taking part from time to time. After that, sheets will be given out for a song that has been sorted out to suit each individuals ability. Once everyone is comfortable with the song we will perform it as a group. This should give us time for a performance at the end, perhaps you can sing? Not only are you learning or advancing your guitar skills, you get the chance to play to a friendly audience, without having to feel like you have to be the next Jimi Hemdrix! Everyone will have the chance to play. Other instruments are also welcome such as Ukelele, Mandolin & Bass etc as long as you give us plenty of notice, music for those instruments can be arranged as Clem also teaches those instruments too!
