A Day at Pampered Pets Dog and Cat Grooming Parlour
The Grooming Parlour is not a traumatic event for your pet. He/she is getting plenty of attention and TLC! You could compare your pets experience with a visit to a spa!
Grooming your dog takes time………. When he/she is ready for their bath, the initial clipping is done by removing any excess body hair. A gentle brush followed by a fine tooth comb, the nails are also clipped at this time. The bath consist of a thorough shampooing with mild shampoo and complete rinse. Flea treatment is used as necessary and other preparations are used at owners’ request. After the bath your dog is thoroughly dried and brushed so the hair is tangle free. Keeping your pet well brushed between appointments makes a more enjoyable visit. Your dog will now have a rest in the cage and a drink of water. Dogs respond better to being groomed when they are not rushed and can relax between steps. Now the time consuming steps are over, we can relax and enjoy the final clipping. Most body work is done with the clippers and all heads and tails are scissored. The whole grooming process takes approximately two-three hours, depending on the size of your dog, style of clip, and the co-operation of your dog.

Nails are priced at £5 and no appointment is necessary.

Large Breeds £35 - £40
Border Collie, Labrador.
**Prices are a guideline and are a subject to change depending on the condition of your dogs coat and individual breed size, matted and difficult dogs will be charged accordingly**
ABOUT THE OWNER
CALLY THOMPSON started the business 25 years ago.Cally set up the business from home but became so busy soon re-located it to a shop. during the last 25 years Cally has trained many groomers,held grooming seminars and groomed literally thousands of dogs.Many of her customers have become great friends.Cally has 2 daughters Jessica 17 years old and Rosie 15 years old. Cally also has a Standard poodle called Harry, who comes to work most days! You may even see Harry's brother Billy at work too! In addition to that her daughters have three horses Casino, Jimjoe and Atlanta.
STAFF
TRACEY- joined our team 12years ago , she manages reception takes appointments and mans the bathing room. Tracey also co ordinates the day ie making sure dogs all go home on time. Tracey helps Cally groom the cats that come into the salon.
Tracey is married and has 4 grown up children and 2 dogs, a collie called Misty blue and an alsation called Alfie. .
SOPHIE - she joined our team in 2011, and is now training to become a proffesional dog groomer, she is currently studying an Animal welfare and Managment National level 3 Diploma, Apprentaship at Pershore College and goes to college on Tuesdays and works in the salon the rest of the week. Sophie is a concientious hard working member of our team who is keen to become a canine beautician. Sophie owns 1 dog a standard poodle called Billy - who is Harry's (Callys dogs) brother, and a cat called Jeffrey. Sophie also has a horse called Blaze.
In the year 2013 Sophie will be offering a half price service to all spaniels and also customers who would like their dogs clipped off. If you would like any more info on this service or if you would like to make an appointment please phone the salon.
