Reigate Baptist Church is a group of people from the Reigate and Redhill locality who meet to: Worship God and acknowledge His goodness Disciple, support and care for each other Communicate Jesus in relevant ways Our History ...and I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. 2 Samuel 7:10 We began in 1995 as a church plant in Woodhatch, after a specific prophecy from the Lord. We met in various venues and over the years the Lord sustained us with promises and words of encouragement from scripture about us having our own building. In 1998 the Lord provided the land for our new building in exchange for an all weather pitch for Reigate School, whose land it had been. In December 2005 we moved into our superb church community centre for our first service. Our present ministry We seek to provide an environment where ordinary people can grow in their love for God and each other. Our teaching is based on the Bible, which declares that the greatest commandment is to love God and to love our neighbours. We meet to Worship God and acknowledge His goodness - All our meetings are lively, informal and friendly with something for everyone. Disciple, support and care for each other. Communicate Jesus in relevant ways to various age groups. Show love and compassion in the community. Encourage the community to use our building and facilities.

Sunday morning services at 10am with Junior Church and Crèche are suitable for all ages including families with children. Everyone worships together for the first twenty minutes then the children and young people go out to take part in their own activities in groups organised according to age. The service normally ends by 11.10am at the latest. Communion is normally celebrated at the end of the service on the first Sunday of the month. All who seek to follow Jesus are welcome to share in the bread and wine whatever their age or background. Monthly Evening Communion Service is normally held on the third Sunday of the month. The congregation is usually smaller and is often more informal and reflective. Building a Community Centre for Reigate which will create a new and vibrant hub of community activity in the centre of the town.

We are a large, active and growing church with a range of services, activities and events that aim to meet the needs of our members and of our wider community. In all we do our aim is to draw people of all ages and backgrounds into a deeper understanding and experience of the Christian life – life with God at the centre and we believe, as God intended it for us all.
