Quince Honey Farm
Quince Honey Farm is a family run working honey farm which is situated in beautiful North Devon where we have been producing honey since 1949. Our 1500 hives are kept deep in the North Devon Countryside amongst the clover fields and wild flowers from which the bees collect their sweet nectar. ‘Beeworld’ is renowned for its up close exhibition of honey bees, interactive buttons can be pressed to see inside the hives, magnifying the bee’s even closer. Nowhere else in the world can you get such an intimate view of the inner workings of the honey bee society without needing protective equipment. ‘Beeworld’ is a hive of fascinating information with 18 colonies to observe and new displays are being added every year.
The ‘Happy Bee play hive’ is our new indoor soft play, so why not enjoy our Devonshire cream tea and tempt yourselves to our delightful honeycomb ice cream while the kids buzz around the play hive. Also in the play hive is a new colony of leaf cutting ants that are always marching back and forth building nests for your viewing pleasure.
