A new public sculpture commission for Stabane, Co. Tyrone by West Cork-based sculptor Holger Lonze. The work celebrates the work and life of the Strabane-born writer Brian O'Nolan, also known as Flann O'Brien and Myles na gCopaleen. To be installed in Summer 2013, the work will be located in front of the public library building. A 1.9m high sculpture of O'Nolan is leaning against some of his most famous publications. The title is a play on his book 'Myles before Myles'.
