King’s Sutton is a village and civil parish in South Northamptonshire, England. The village lies in the valley of the River Cherwell, some four miles (6.4km) south-east of Banbury, just over the border in Oxfordshire. The parish includes the hamlets of Astrop, Upper Astrop, Walton Grounds and Little Purston. King’s Sutton is close to the M40 motorway, which provides fast road links to Oxford, Birmingham and London. It is also one of only two villages in the county of Northamptonshire to boast a railway station, which is served by First Great Western and Chiltern Railways trains to London Paddington, London Marylebone, Birmingham Snow Hill, Oxford and the rest of the national rail network.
