Hurstfields Livery Stables
Hurstfields livery is a friendly yard with an emphasis on equine care and rider contentment. We want our clients enjoying their horses in a stress free pleasurable environment.
We are pleased to announce that we have limited spaces now available for Full, Part, 5 day, schooling, sales, DIY’s and grass liveries. These will be on first come first served basis.
We are situated amidst some of the best hacking in this part of Surrey, with a bridle path leading from our land directly onto the Epsom Downs so avoiding any road work. Other popular locations, Headley Heath, Box Hill, Walton Downs and Mickleham are all accessible by crossing minor roads (not forgetting the Sportsman pub nearby which is horse friendly and perfect for a summer pub ride).
All year turnout is in 42 acres of grazing fenced with post and rail, which is further divided into paddocks with the use of electric fencing.
There is always somewhere to school and for lessons at busy times such as after school and work thanks to the two floodlit arenas one of which is a 20m x 60m with a sand/rubber surface.
The cross country course has jumps of varying height and is technicality suitable for all ages and abilities.
Our tea room with hot drink facilities, fridge, WC and chairs makes for a comfortable informal place to get out of the elements and warm up/ cool down.
Hurstfields is situated opposite the Mid Surrey Pony Club so it is perfect for attending rallies and their numerous shows held throughout the year. There are other venues holding events nearby giving everyone a chance to compete with or without transport.
Limited transport to shows is also offered with prior booking. The opportunity to follow hounds and have a go at hunting with your local pack, The Surrey Union, is available with your own horse or a reliable hireling.
