The Gate has regular weekly events;
THURSDAY NIGHT'S are karaoke with:
*STARLIGHT EXPRESS KARAOKE SHOW*
WITH GORDON GILLESPIE
8.00pm TILL Late.
FRIDAY NIGH *CHRIS PARSONS PRICE DROP NIGHT*
HEAR the *SIREN* and see the price's drop at the bar for 15 minutes.
If you hear the siren it means we will be dropping prices on selected drinks.
Friday 16th March (1 MINUTE MADNESS) all you have to do is buy a raffle ticket for £1.00 from the bar any time or day and at 22.30 on Friday 16th March a winning ticket will be pulled out,If you are the holder of that number you then have 1 MINUTE behind the bar to serve your self and your mates for FREE.

It is also the night that you and your friends dont have to spend a fourtune on coming out as its deal night also a range of cocktails to share between you and your friends in jugs or in a glass.
SATURDAY NIGHT is music night with our own professional DJ PARALLAX playing everything from R&B,Dance,Pop,Chart music, house, progressive house,Trance and Electro.
SUNDAY why not come in through the day for some karaoke till 5.00pm and help your self to the crisps and peanuts on the bar.just relax and get ready for thoses horrible monday mornings.
DRESS CODE for Friday and Saturday nights at The Gate is smart casual all so there are:
*NO HATS OR CAPS
*NO HODDIES
*NO VESTS
*NO TRACKY BOTTOMS
to be worn on these days after 8.30pm in the venue.
