Hello to all my readers, my investigation into Raring2go! Bedford was basically a stumble on an article in my son’s schoolbag. What Inspired me about Raring2go? As a mum of young children I use this magazine a lot for ideas of places to go and activities to do in the school holidays it’s like my diary that I carry around in my bag! When I then decided to go back to work I referred to it again for ideas and places to go for business support and networking. Raring2go! Bedford currently distributes over 12,000 copies in the Bedford, Sandy, Biggleswade and surrounding villages to schools, pre-schools, libraries and toddler groups for families who have children in the age range of 0-9 years old. I am extremely passionate about my magazine as I feel it helps support families and businesses in the area. The Town Council (formerly Ampthill Urban District Council) has been a Successor Town Council since April 1974, pursuant to the Local Government Act 1972. Ampthill is situated in Mid Bedfordshire, with a population of approximately 7,000 and 3,150 households. The Council comprises 12 members and meets regularly at the Council Chambers. 1985(Flitwick) squadron are a highly successful and active squadron of the Air Training Corps based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. We recruit cadets from Ampthill, Flitwick and the surrounding area and we are always looking for people who are interested in the Royal Air Force and aviation or who want to join a fantastic youth organisation to help their confidence and personal qualities grow.
