Located with 55 acres of grounds in an idyllic setting, within easy reach of superb venues for many outdoor activities, we have a lot to offer all groups.
Both residential and day visitors can experience on site activities, including:
• high ropes challenges
• low ropes course
• climbing wall
• our own trikes, bikes and trail
• problem solving tasks
• orienteering
• environmental activities
Groups that choose to venture off site can:
• explore some of the most scenic walking in the Peak District – direct from our door
• walk or ride along the car-free Monsal Trail which runs adjacent to our site
• go rock climbing on local crags
• enjoy mountain biking
• abseil from a 75ft high viaduct
• try caving
• visit local tourist attractions, such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the caves in Castleton
• tour local villages and towns, such as Bakewell, Castleton and Buxton
Programmes are tailored to each group to ensure that they get exactly what they want from a visit, and they can fit a range of budgets. Activities can be led entirely by our experienced instructors, or certain activities can be led by visiting staff.
Our two well equipped 30 bed buildings, along with our camping field, provide flexible accommodation for small groups, classes of children or even groups of 100+. Both accommodation units and the camping area have their own kitchen and dining areas, enabling groups to self cater, take advantage of pre-prepared meals or a have a fully catered service.
Meetings, conferences and festivals can be hosted in our meeting rooms, yurt and marquees in our extensive grounds.
