Wastesaver Hub is led by Natasha and Holly, a forward-looking managerial team with a strong background in fashion buying, product sourcing, textile print design and education.
We are creative, fashion-forward and are delighted to share our commercial and technical knowledge. Beside our core second-hand fashion products, we aim to grow Wastesaver Hub as a major player in the online ethical and upcycled fashion market.
We are proud of our loyal volunteer team. We are a bubbly, positive group of mixed ages with an array of interests.
The Hub:
We only sell our fabulous donated stock through Oxfam’s Online Shop; so our volunteers gain valuable experience in the relevant and rapidly growing e-tail sector.
Wastesaver Hub itself is a unique place. On a newly purpose-designed site in Batley, we offer a vibrant office-based environment, with an up-cycling area and social space.
We are joined with Oxfam’s national recycling plant. This allows us access to the cream of donated stock supplied by Oxfam’s high street stores nationwide! Such varied, vibrant stock gives us the opportunity to learn about many types of garments, textiles, cut, labels and decades of fashion. We also gain an interesting insight into the ways in which a broad range of donated stock is re-sold, re-used and recycled.
