Why not enjoy a days cruising down the Macclesfield Canal??
Day boat hire available every day at reasonable prices. 2 boats available.
Otter - 32 ft long. Has a larger front, ideal for parties.
Sam - 35ft long. Has a cabin heater and larger rear deck.
Both boats are able to carry up to 12 people including skipper and both come with toilet facilities as well as a kettle and camping stove. Cups are also provided. There is a BW key to operate swing bridges in both boats.
Hire Times - 9am - 5pm. Gives ample time to cruise either to Marple or Bosley top lock. (no day boats to use locks)
There are plenty of pubs along the routes which do good food.
Prices - Full day - weekdays £100
Weekends £120
Bank Holidays charged at weekend rate.
Any additional hours are charged at the rate of £15.00 / hour for each extra hour thereafter.
Must be paid at booking.
Dogs are very welcome but do incur a £5 supplement.
£100 deposit required on the day, returnable at end of day if boat returned at 5pm and with no damage.
