We are selling superb quality and delicious vegetarian (mainly vegan) food that is made from locally sourced, ethical and organic (where possible) ingredients. The Pulse is an ‘eco café’ – sustainability, ethical living and community are at the core of what we do - we have installed solar (photo-voltaic) panels on the roof and are completely powered by renewable energy. We are minimising our waste and recycling and composting what we do produce. We are working in partnership to develop a local community allotment and hope to install rainwater harvesting to flush our toilets. We are also inviting groups to use the space for their meetings, workshops and events. We will also be offering an ethical/sustainable mobile catering service. Please contact us for more details. We are 10 minutes' walk from the train station and 5 minutes' from the nearest bus stop. You can access the Pulse through the back gate in the corner of Albany car park.

Sittingbourne Maritime Cadets is a part of the Maritime Cadet Corps; which are a National Youth Organisation promoting adventurous activities for Sea Pirates aged 8 & 9, Juniors aged 10 & 11 years of age and Cadets 12-18 years of age. Sittingbourne Heritage Museum is an independent museum dedicated to preserving and displaying the heritage of Sittingbourne and its surroundings. It is located in a small building in East Street and is open on Saturdays from March to October each year. Registered Charity No: 1070698.
