Coopers Edge Ballet School is my dream come true, and in September 2012 it will open its doors to local children, offering ballet classes from 2½ years on a Saturday morning. In time I also hope to be able to offer adult ballet classes.

Youth Group

We are a small, friendly, mixed age group of women from a range of backgrounds who enjoy a variety of talks, demonstrations and social activities within our WI. We also have a regular craft group and lunch club running in between our meetings.

Brockworth Sports Centre is located just off junction 11a of the M5. We have a 25m swimming pool, gym, dance studio, sports hall, football pitches, tennis courts and brand new full size all weather pitch.

Set in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, Brockworth Garden Centre lies on the A46 just outside the town of Brockworth. It began life as a small market garden run by the Wildens and became a garden centre in 1976, when a record breaking heatwave melted the tarmac in the brand new glasshouse and most of the aerosol canisters exploded. At the other extreme, the weather caused more problems in the 1980s, when heavy snowfall overnight shattered the glass roof and buried the plantarea in snow so deep the staff spent an entire week digging it out! Since then, all has been well and today Brockworth is a popular choice in an area generously populated with garden centres. Staffed by a team of loyal, cheerful and knowledgeable staff whose expertise is appreciated by expert and amateur gardeners alike, the centre has a well deserved reputation for the consistently high quality of its growing stock. Whilst the excellent array of plants and gardening products lies at the heart of the business, this is enhanced by a great range of garden furniture, giftware and cards, not to mention the proximity to the famously eccentric Cheese Rolling Event which can be viewed from the centre!

The Six Appeal Wheel Group (SAW Group) was started in 2004 by long time Range Rover enthusiast Walter Davis, known to all his friends as Walt. Walt’s interest in Range Rovers was originally aroused when one of the earliest examples pulled onto the forecourt of his father’s garage many years ago. Later, after running his own transport related business for a while he came across a picture of a TACR2 in a book on Range Rovers. He still has that book and the picture features on the home page of this site. With his enthusiasm fired up when the opportunity came to purchase a TACR2 he decided he must have one. After trying various avenues he eventually decided to try and bid for one at a vehicle auction (this was before all ex MOD vehicles were handed over to the government approved disposal agency). After one or two aborted attempts he finally achieved success and purchased a Carmichael TACR2A .

Ridgemount Cottage Nursery School is the perfect place for your child to grow, develop and learn. The nursery is set in a purpose built building in the grounds of a listed, thatched cottage – the family home of the owners. At Ridgemount we strive to extend our learning through into the outdoor environment. We have a purpose built activity area which promotes movement and control with in the children’s development, which is accessed daily, throughout the year. This enables our setting to promote the importance of the children’s motor skills and abilities to explore and develop individually. This then boosts every child’s self-esteem, confidence and capability to achieve. Valuing the ‘whole child’, and encouraging fully rounded development leads to positive self-belief, which is key in creating critical thinking and achievement.
