FMP Construction Joint Venture
FMP are a design and construction vehicle focusing on delivery through collaborative working and partnership.
The consortium was formed in 2005 and comprises three top construction companies, Farrans Construction, H&J Martin Ltd, and David Patton & Sons (NI) Ltd.
The partnership attracts synergies offering three construction and organisation perspectives.
Farrans Construction provide vast range of services and are part of the Cement Roadstone Holdings PLC group. They have extensive experience in education, health and infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Farrans have a long pedigree in joint ventures delivering roads, bridges, stadiums including the Odyssey Millennium Project, and Belfast’s city centre biggest regeneration project, Victoria Square a multi storey retail, leisure and entertainments flagship project.
H&J Martin Ltd is one of the oldest family run construction companies in Ireland specialising in construction, fit out and facilities management. As part of a joint venture they have completed the multi-phased reconstruction of the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and have been successful in other primary care facilities throughout Northern Ireland. They provide the consortium with in-depth experience on all facilities management issues including advice on whole life costs, help desk facilities and lifecycle knowledge.
David Patton & Sons (NI) Ltd have extensive commercial experience including construction of hotel and leisure facilities throughout the UK and Tesco’s have nominated Patton’s as a preferred delivery partner for the last 6 years. Patton’s name is synonymous with quality both in construction and fit-out with many clients insisting that they form partnerships leading to repeat work and long-term relationships.
