This is the Facebook page for Larne and Newtownabbey Dog Pound. We take care of stray and unwanted dogs from both boroughs of Larne and Newtownabbey. Our aim is to get stray dogs we recieve back to their owners and to rehome dogs that their owners can no longer care for.

Youth from both Carrickfergus and Larne Nazarene have joined to fellowship and have fun together. If you're aged between 12-40 you are more than welcome to join with us, here is a list of what we get up to during the week: Indoor 5 a-side Football 8pm-9.30pm...Every Thursday A night where guys play football, no strings attached, nothing, just a chance to play with your mates and have a good laugh at the leaders attempting to be young and fit. If you and your mates love football, come along and it gets even better, its 100% free! Friday Night Bible Study 7pm-10pm...Every Other Friday A chance to get deeper with God, in a very open and safe environment. We share things and learn so much together at the bible studies and usually we end up talking the whole night about personal issues that affect all of us in our faith; problems at school, something you don't understand in the bible, friendship, what happens when we die. Anything you want to know about God you can ask here and we can share our personal thoughts together. Saturday Night Thing (SNT) 8pm-10.15pm...Every Saturday A place where young people can feel safe and can just relax with friends inside a lovely warm building. We have special events that run on Saturday nights including: social outings (bowling, go-karting, lazer quest), baking nights, Xbox tournaments and many more..... Youth Bible Class 10am-11am A morning of breakfast and laughs, the bible class is for teenagers who want to learn more about God in a way that they will understand. Classes aimed at your age group, where sharing and laughing go together, definitely one not to miss. Sunday Night YP 8pm-9.30pm...Every Sunday A time where we can share together and worship knowing we are among friends, this is where the youth group really shines. We have toast and chat at the start of the night, and then we play some games, worship together and then a short message is shared. It's a great place to learn about God and each other. You are more than welcome to join us, we love meeting new people and we're like a mini community so the more the merrier
