My name is Rachel Durrant and I completed my three year degree course in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at Roehampton University initially working with young people and women who had experienced domestic violence. Since then I have undertaken a range of further training in working with children and adolescents and continue to work with children who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in primary education. People are unique individuals with different skills and resources to help them cope with what life brings. As such, I find that by working integratively (which means that I draw on different theories person centred, existential and psychodynamic) I am able to adapt my work to suit you and your individual needs. My work can be short term (6-8 weeks) or long term but however long we work together, I am here to support you on your journey to understanding your self. I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I abide by their Code of Ethics in my work.
